Great Decisions
Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs.
Annually the Foreign Policy Association selects a set of topics and publishes a related briefing book.
Around the country, local groups organize discussions and presentations on the annual topics. The League of Women Voters of Williamsburg Area sponsors a Great Decisions program with speakers and brief discussions after the presentations.
Our local Great Decisions series usually begins in February. In the fall, we contact our League members to register and will also post signup information on this website. Since the COVID pandemic, we offer the program with both in-person and webinar options.
Library Resources
Since the spring of 2021, the League of Women Voters of the Williamsburg Area has funded eBooks for the Williamsburg Regional Library about influential women in American history, civic engagement, and government. Students of all ages can learn new things and deepen their understanding of American history.
