Hampton University’s Harvey Library will host a screening of Are You a Librarian?, a documentary film by Rodney Freeman.
The film highlights the long role of Black librarians as defenders of knowledge, champions of civil rights, and preservers of Black history.

LWV of Virginia invites you to Silent Witness: Documenting the History of Enslavement in Lynchburg, a virtual program exploring the history of enslavement in Lynchburg.
The program highlights the work of Silent Witnesses, a collaborative public history project established in 2021 by the Legacy Museum of African American History and the Lynchburg Museum System. Its mission is to document the enslaved experience of people of African descent and related sites in Lynchburg, Virginia, and to educate citizens of all ages about this history.
