Join to hear the Williamsburg/James City County Commonwealth Attorney speak about his job: guest speaker Nathan Green (R), Commonwealth Attorney for Williamsburg-James City County since 2007, will talk about the office of the top prosecutor, grand juries and the TV show Law & Order. This office represents the County and the City of Williamsburg and is responsible for the prosecution of offenses under Virginia’s criminal and traffic laws. The office is also home to the Victim Witness Assistance Program, which provides information to crime victims about the criminal justice process, as well as assisting with referrals for counseling and financial assistance.
LWV-WA Bylaws require that members receive the report of the Nominating Committee, the local League program (positions and/or proposed studies) and the proposed upcoming year’s budget one month before the Annual Meeting. League members have received this information by email.
