  • This is our Annual League Lobby Day, where we observe the General Assembly in session and lobby our Historic Triangle area legislators on our legislative priorities.
  • We also attend the Women's Legislative Roundtable at 8:30 a.m., sponsored by the LWV-VA. The Roundtable meets every Wedesday morning the Assembly is in session.

  • Our Speaker is Christine Nemacheck, Professor of Government at William & Mary.
  • Her topic is very timely: The Supreme Court and the Affordable Care Act. We expect that the oral arguments on this issue will have already occurred, giving her some direction on what the court is likely to rule on this important law!
